Dual taskエクササイズ Step+

Dual task(二重課題処理能力)の低下は、比較的元気な高齢者における転倒と関連します。Dual task 強化エクササイズのStep+を行う事で転倒予防、また有酸素運動と組み合わせることにより認知機能低下を防止する事ができました。また自治体において転倒予防活動を行う事は要介護を防ぎ、経済効果としても有効です。

Dual-task マット

歩いている時に目指す場所に足をつくことができないといった身体感覚のずれと転倒は関連があります。その時にどこの場所を見ているかを調べた結果、転倒しやすい高齢者の視線は足下に集中しており、転倒をしない高齢者では比較的遠くを見ていることがわかりました。つまり足元だけに集中していることで無理な歩行戦略を取り、効率的なコース選定ができなくなったという事です。そこで三色のマット「Dual-taskマット」を用いてトレーニングしていくことで視線の行き先は徐々に遠くになり、無理のない歩行戦略をとる事ができるようになりました。

Dual task 評価・支援器機

スマートフォンやキネクトなど、さまざまな機器を用いてDual taskの評価及び支援機器を開発してきました。これらの中で慶應義塾大学、村田機械、京都大学が共同で開発したレーザレンジファインダーを用いた転倒危険度評価器機「Step+」は簡便に、安全に転倒の危険度を評価する事ができます。
